An immersive journey into the life, works, and places of Gabriele d'Annunzio, told through restored historical images, cinematic reconstructions, and poetic narratives.
The project stems from the desire to bring to light the memory of an era—from his youth in Pescara and Rome, to the Fiume Enterprise and the Vittoriale—with a perspective that combines historical rigor and technological innovation.
Thanks to the most advanced digital restoration techniques and artificial intelligence, photographs faded by time regain clarity, color, and depth; static images come to life, transforming into short cinematic scenes in the style of ARRI Alexa 65 and IMAX MSM 9802; the voices and atmospheres of the era are recreated with philological care, giving the audience the feeling of being in the presence of d'Annunzio, Maria Hardouin, Guido Keller, and other protagonists of the time.
It's not just a historical archive, but a narrative experience that blends art, history, and technology: a bridge between past and present, designed for those who want to rediscover d'Annunzio not as a distant, dusty figure, but as a living, controversial, and visionary man.
This project is simultaneously research, visual experimentation, and an act of love for Italian culture: an invitation to look with new eyes at what has been, to better understand who we are.
